But reading your blog entry and the comments of my companeros, I think I ought to post this here also. It is relevant to the topic. This is my story, albeit one that will never make it to my official biography.

I met an MPA three years ago. You see, I used to give myself a gift every year for all my labors. Just once a year. Much of the fruit of the sweat off my brow goes to my family. That year, a couple of days before Christmas, was special. I went to an MP along Quezon Ave, near the Delta area. I picked one of several establishments that lined the boulevard and just sauntered in. Through the aquarium glass I picked a sad-looking slim morena beauty who had a distant stare. Something just told me "She is the one."

"J" has been in the MP business for two years, on and off. She wasnt spectacular in bed and her 'assets' werent bountiful. I asked for her phone number. A week later I thought, "What the heck." and called her. We had lunch after the deed where we made small talk. This was followed by another meet a week later. I took her to the baywalk area along Roxas Blvd to watch the sunset. I then told her my plan and asked her to consider my offer. There were tears in her eyes when she said yes.

That summer I took her to an old college in Manila where she was academically tested and found qualified to enroll. I reserved space in a ladies dorm just across from the school. She still lives there, in an airconditioned room she shares with three other girls enrolled in different schools, none of whom know her past. They know her as a probinsiyana, daughter of middle class vegetable farmers sending their only daughter to school, which is partially true. Her parents have a small plot in Negros, but not much else. I pay for the tuition and the dorm and a small but steady stipend to get her by.

What's my payback? Just a regular halfday tryst every Saturday. Nothing fancy. I call her every morning before school and she calls before my bedtime everynight, pretending to be the night clerk in the office, in case my wife gets the phone.

This June she will be enrolling for her third year in college. Top five in their batch of 200 aspiring teachers. That's right. She wants to pass the board exam and go back to Negros to become a teacher. Part jokingly, but the rest truthfully, I promised her I will buy her a second-hand jeepney and 20 goats if she gets her teaching license.

One more year and I will likely lose my girlfriend. Probably to some vegetable farmer.

I hope this post inspires others that indeed there is life beyond the grist of massage parlors and dirty old men.

Sailor63

oliver comments on Fuusia

I really enjoy reading your articles, B-MAN keep up the good work....Im a massage / spa addict myself and i envy you on all of the escapades that you have experienced....continue on giving us good tips!!!

TOny Goes comments on Fuusia

Nice review, have to check this place out someitme, guess as they say depedning what therapists and when to go might make a diifference.
