Sexbomb music video for the 2010 automated elections

One thing is for sure: I am not the target market for this music video. The lyrics are terrible. My brain refuses to retain the words and the beat. Their dancing is horrible. After just a few minutes I had to look away. Not even a sense of morbid curiosity could keep me glued to this video.

hi B-man! i think you are way too celebral kasi, that's why you don't appreciate this vid.
for me, i thought it was catchy (albeit corny), and the lyrics were actually informative and the Sexbomb girls...well, lets just say they're not that bad. One or two of them can actually be considered pretty.

hope the vid reaches its target market, and actually makes a difference (no matter how slight) in making people vote wisely!

Hi BMan,

Yes the guy in the first post is right. This video is made for the lower class people, so that they can easily understand what to do during the elections. As we all know, even the illiterate people have a right to vote so you need to have a vehicle for them to understand.

My 2 cents...
To be blunt, I agree with Mr. Buwayahman. The video, plainly put, is bad. The beat and lyrics are poor and neither catchy nor infectious. The dance routine is uninspired and mediocre.
To say that the video is for lower class people smacks of elitism and arrogance. An enlightened person would offer solutions instead of stating the obvious.
A case in point is both the Discovery and National Geographic programs which promote knowledge without utilizing the mediocre talents of the sexbomb dancers. If the media can create a show which educates everybody the rules and regulations of an election, why the need for such a horrid video? Did somebody use the casting couch (literally) to get this video out and get paid for such a mediocre performance? More's the pity...
