Jesus was held hostage!

I found this story through Pharyngula. I couldn't help but laugh at this incident. A University of Central Florida student decides not to consume the blessed communion wafer and instead decides to bring it home to show it to his friend.

"It is hurtful," said Father Migeul Gonzalez with the Diocese. "Imagine if they kidnapped somebody and you make a plea for that individual to please return that loved one to the family."

Ok, so if bringing home the "Body of Christ" is akin to kidnapping, then shouldn't communion be akin to cannibalism?
