Escort pricing
One of the many questions I receive have to do with the cost of an escort.
There are the free-lance, forum-posting escorts. Normally these would range from around the P3,000-P7,000 range. For most of them, their looks do not motivate me. But there are a few jewels in the rough, and I never shirk away if the escort is pretty. The ratio, however, tends to be about 1 in 50.
Then we get to those that have handlers. They are typically photo-shoot models, who have appeared in a couple of fashion-show ramps or a few obscure advertisements. Price range hover around the P12,000-P15,000 range, but it is not surprising to find a few such escorts priced at P30,000-P40,000. They are almost always pretty, or at least presentable.
But once we get to the "known" models, those that have been featured in TV shows, who have provocatively posed in covers of leading men's magazines, their prices skyrocket to levels unreachable by the common man. The highest I have seen (but not touched) was P600,000. And I have yet to see a famous celebrity at less than P100,000.
This is why I treat this Abigail Cruz story with a grain of salt. And let me clear thigs: I am not claiming that the story is true or that Abigail is a woman-for-hire. But celebrities and TV personalities who are also moonlighting as "paid companion" would be severely underpriced at P30,000.
Just to put a P30,000 price tag in perspective, I have experienced a yet-to-be (as she claimed) Viva Hot Babe at P25,000. I have experienced a gorgeous photo-shoot model at P40,000, but she isn't a "known" model, despite the fact that she has appeared in a prominent men's magazine, was seen in the sidelines of a few beer commercials, and was once a regular supporting member of a Filipino TV comedy show. I have also experienced a member of a semi-popular female singing-dancing-modelling troupe at P40,000. They are far from noteable. Google their names and you would not find them; google "Abigail Cruz" and you will see a lot of hits.

Re: The Abigail Cruz P30k escort story, I read about it on Gorrell's blog. I slowly read it and very carefully analyzed it. The person who wrote it stated quite clearly that: 1) He does not know who Abigail Cruz is, or what she looks like. 2) It was his friend who mentioned that the Politician had the hots for Abigail. 3) This decent looking girl was a high priced escort the guy's friend paid (on behalf of his uncle) for Mr. Politician to have fun with. My analysis showed that at no time was a statement made that directly stated that particular girl was Abigail Cruz. Now we all know that there are some handler who will provide Celebrity Look-Alikes, and this might be a case in point. The Politician might already be satisfied with his fantasy, especially if he know that the real one is not available anyway.... Peace guys.
Regarding escort pricing, the more famous or infamous, the higher the price. It has to do with the bragging rights that go with the sex, not the beauty of the girl. I would prefer to get better value for my money. I have also spent around P60k to "get" a club girl (from an A1 club in QC) around 3 years ago. Also spent US$1800 for an hour with a blonde & brunette escort in Las Vegas, in my room, whose looks are better than Angel Locsin.

in my experience escort prices varies not from looks but from the needs of the escort. financial woes got them into this industry and u can not blame them. they giv all the ecuses in the world but the bottom line is money. so if your a real gentelman and know that they do this thing for money, give them something. and that something is respect! they already know they are in this business and this business was their last resort. respect is i think something they desere after all, we guys get what we want! so a free thing like respect means a lot to them. and matbey you get a discount the second time around!!
maybe the 30k was just downpayment or maybe it was just the pimp's fee. if this is true, [sarcasm]it's nice to know that are taxes are being used properly[/sarcasm].
just read the "freakin blog" I think the guys who post on that other "glob" are just plain hypocrites...
but If you see it on a traveller perspective. 30K is just a flesh of the trade.
no offense to others its just they associate the 30K to the affluent beauty queens...its plain stigma..
why not go to all "underground" bars in Singapore for example...you see plenty and definetely charge you 30K minimum..and I agree the penny is worth on service not the beauty of the PSP.
the way I see it its just a "demolition job" for the poor owner of the bar mentioned in the other blog..so I say ...they are just plain hypocrites....
